We’re hiring a Director of Service Operations to lead our largest team at Curri. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across all live service and support teams that engage with both our customers and our driver network. You’ll set the standard for what great looks like—then lead the org to get there.

We’re hiring a Director of Service Operations to lead our largest team at Curri. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across all live service and support teams that engage with both our customers and our driver network. You’ll set the standard for what great looks like—then lead the org to get there.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute on a forward-looking strategy to scale with our growth.
- Design and run a high-performing service operation that’s measurable, predictable, and consistently excellent across all channels (chat, phone, in-app, etc.).
- Set clear, data-driven goals and KPIs for your teams, informed by the real expectations and needs of our customers and drivers.
- Monitor performance rigorously—spot problems early, dig into root causes, and solve proactively.
- Inspire, coach, and grow a human-heavy team, including frontline managers and agents across multiple functions.
- Get into the weeds—periodically performing the IC roles and working on the platform as a driver to gain a deep mechanical understanding of the business you manage.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Engineering to improve our tools, systems, and customer experiences.
- Drive innovation in how we support customers and drivers to make Curri’s service a core reason people stick with us.
- Leverage AI and automation to free people up to focus on exceptions, not rules, and double down on humans doing more human things.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments like banking, consulting, tech, analytics, operations, or strategy
- Strong operational instincts and analytical skills—you identify inefficiencies early and act decisively
- First principles thinker who balances customer and driver empathy with efficiency
- Proven track record leading high-performing service orgs, ideally in high-growth or operationally complex businesses, across employees and external agents
- Excellent people leader who drives clarity, leads by example, and builds high standards
- Systems thinker who can scale processes—but also thrives in the chaos and isn’t afraid to get hands-on
- Comfortable with ambiguity, urgency, and high expectations
- Strong data chops—fluent in experimentation, decision-making, and translating dashboards into action
- Clear, effective communicator who raises the bar for team communication
- Proficiency or familiarity with SQL is a strong plus
- Bonus: Experience in logistics or on-demand marketplaces (e.g., ridesharing, food delivery, last-mile delivery)
