Field Safety Specialist
The Field Safety Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing onsite job safety support Job duties include:
Truck, trailer, tool and safety equipment/PPE (including harnesses, fire extinguishers – site, vehicle & equipment, etc.) inventories
Works with HR to addresses driving-related concerns as the result of Caliber’s GPS monitoring services
Receives and reviews all Safety Sign In Sheets, JSA/TSA’s and daily reports to ensure no pencil-whipping;
Receives and reviews all equipment inspection forms
Maintains reliable onsite safety presence
Risk Management – assisting in policy and procedure definition or creation, GAP analysis, root-cause analysis, investigations; as it pertains to near-misses, incidents and injuries
o Helps to identify trends, KPIs
Follows and upholds/enforces Caliber’s Safety and HSE Manual
Any other HSE assignments site pertaining to Caliber personnel
Ensure job specific documents are saved onto the server job folder – JSAs, permits, etc.
Responsible for client communication and incident response
Completes and addresses site audits using designated application for such
Conducts safety meetings/trainings
Assists with attendance reporting
Maintains PPE levels
The summarized qualifications for this role are:
5+ years demonstrated experience in Electrical Safety/HSE
Must have industry, technical-specific experience
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent organization and time management capabilities
Able to meet deadlines and respond well to impromptu deadline shifts
Strong communication skills, to include all levels of management, both internal and external – oral and written
Detail-oriented with quick follow-up skills
Able to handle confidential material appropriately
College degree or certification preferred; High school diploma or GED is required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
