Position Summary:
The Recruiter II will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to proactively source and recruit top talent for corporate positions and across 12 to 14 retail grocery stores in various regions. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for all candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy Development: Partner with the Recruiting Manager to assess
current and future hiring needs for both corporate roles and retail grocery stores
across multiple regions.
Job Posting and Advertising: Create and update job descriptions, and post openings on
various platforms, including the company website, applicant tracking systems, job
boards, and social media channels.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, social
media, job fairs, and community resources to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Screening and Interviewing: Conduct pre-screening of potential candidates, coordinate
interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback on top candidates.
Onboarding Coordination: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all
necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly.
Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive candidate experience
throughout the recruitment process, maintaining clear and timely communication.
Reporting and Analytics: Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to
the team, monitoring and applying HR recruiting best practices.
Event Coordination: Coordinate recruitment campaigns, including job fairs, career
fairs, and recruitment-related events to promote the company as an employer of
choice.
Knowledge and Skills:
Bilingual Communication: Proficiency in both English and Spanish, including reading,
writing, and speaking.
Recruitment Tools: Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS),
and candidate management systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
recruitment processes simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
professional phone etiquette.
Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive experience
for candidates and hiring managers.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 13 years of successful full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced
corporate or retail environment.
Recruitment Coordination: Experience coordinating and participating in interviews,
including preparation of appropriate interview questions, providing input to selection
decisions, and preparing offer letters.
Multi-Tasking Ability: Strong multi-tasking ability to effectively manage simultaneous
candidate pipelines for different departments and positions.
Relationship Building: Ability to establish relationships with hiring managers, store
operations, and team members.
Physical Demands:
Office Environment: Will be required to spend long hours sitting and using office
equipment and computers.
Communication: Expressing or exchanging ideas and to convey detailed instructions
to applicants, candidates, team members accurately, clearly, or quickly.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm; schedule may vary based on business
necessity and coordinated through the reporting supervisor.

Education Information. We collect information regarding your professional and education history to the extent provided in your resume/application.
Thermal or other Health-Related Information. If you apply in-person or come to our store(s) as part of the application process, we may need to take your temperature or other similar information as part of our health protection policies. However, this information is not retained.
Inferences. We gather information about your employment history with Vallarta, such as the company location/facility to which you are assigned, position and description of duties, fulltime and part-time status, pay rate, as well as descriptions about your job performance and skills.
