- Design and implement a hands-on, interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates literacy, math, science, and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with specialist teachers in athletics, languages, and the arts to develop rich, cross-disciplinary learning experiences.
- Establish and maintain a strong, supportive classroom community.
- Communicate consistently with families to support student growth and foster strong school-home relationships.
Knowledge /Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of elementary classroom teaching experience preferred.
- Valid teacher certification preferred.
- Proven ability to design and lead interdisciplinary experiences for students.
- Passion for integrating athletics, world languages, and the arts into the core curriculum.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and enthusiasm for shaping a dynamic, evolving program.
