Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, FP&A –Technology will be responsible for partnering with Technology Senior Leadership on financial planning, forecasting and reporting for Technology Sub-Functions as assigned. This role will play an integral part in driving cost discipline while also finding ways to optimize spend through productivity without compromising essential needs. In addition, the role will lead the build out of processes and reporting around numerous new IT initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform monthly closing, forecasting and reporting duties and be a strategic partner to SLT & Staff:

  • Lead FP&A processes for $200MM+ IT budgets, overseeing annual planning, pacing, forecasting, variance analysis, and close activities
  • Drive timely and accurate completion of monthly accounting entries, ensuring proper month-end accruals
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional leaders to support strategic decision-making and drive cost optimization, productivity, and compliance
  • Collaborate with HR to manage headcount reporting and tracking, including oversight of existing roles and planned additions
  • Provide financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to identify risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
  • Review contracts, SOWs, and purchase orders for compliance with policies and accounting requirements, maintaining strong spend controls
  • Collaborate with sourcing and supplier management to identify and deliver on productivity opportunities
  • Respond to audit and regulatory requests, ensuring compliance and supporting internal/external reviews
  • Support cross-functional projects, special initiatives, and deliver high-quality ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Guide and coordinate dotted-line staff and resources as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or in lieu of degree, 10 years’ equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience in (FP&A) Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Must be willing to travel up to 5%

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
