Key Responsibilities
- Maintain efficient day to day operations for a multi-physician cardiology practice working with both medical and non medical staff.
- Monitor staff ensuring that all job duties are completed by the end of clinic day.
- Maintain efficient appointment scheduling registration and patient flow to enhance patient satisfaction, physician productivity.
- Develop strategies for making business practices more efficient while improving the patient's experience.
- Responsible for productivity, financial compliance reports, and sending daily, weekly and monthly practice reports.
- Being a cultural role model within the practice.
- Adopting a "hands on approach" in supporting and training staff while identifying and managing performances.
- Working collaboratively with physicians and leadership to accomplish organization and practice goals.
- Oversee supply and inventory, waste management and ensure that the clinics are stocked, and resources are procured/supplied as needed and environment is maintained to a high standard.
- Establish and implement effective workplace processes and procedures.
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years of managing a team of 25 or more employees
- Medical Office Management: 2 years (Required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- 25% of travel required
- Intermediate level skills in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of the English and Spanish language, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or any related field is preferred and/or a combination of experience and education
- Knowledge of cardiology terminology.
- Experience in Cardiovascular clinics
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
