Franklin Sports, Inc. is looking to hire a passionate, high-energy individual to support our Memphis Operations.

What you will do: We are looking to hire an Inventory Control Team Lead for our 500,000+ square foot distribution center. This role will support warehouse inventory operations. This position may be required to work 1 st shift hours (6:00am to 2:30pm) with overtime during the week and on weekends, as required.

This position is located at our Distribution Center in Memphis TN and will report to the Inventory Supervisor.

In More Detail, You Will

• Executes day-to-day flow of work as directed by the supervisor
• Lead a team of up to 8 Full Time and Temporary hourly associates
• Responsible for training new team members regarding work procedures, methods, and practices
• Promotes and ensures a safe, productive, and positive work environment for all employees
• Helps assign work for employees engaged in cycle counting and other means of inventory reconciliation
• Assists in research on discrepancies in inventory counts to maintain accurate records
• Performs the role of supervisor as needed when the supervisor is not present
• Must be willing and able to work overtime hours as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of six (6) months of team lead experience and/or related warehouse experience
• Previous Forklift experience on Order/Cherry Picker and certification require
  
  

What You Have Done

• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Understanding of OSHA and safety requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Possesses basic math skills
  
  

Level Of Responsibility

Interact regularly and follow up with internal and external parties based on direction of management, presents information for decision making to manager, and the requires ability to independently follow up on pending items and to manage their own daily tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position performs the role of supervisor as needed when the supervisor is not present.

This person is occasionally required to operate and/or ride on material handling equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, this person is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
