Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple residential EV charger projects, from concept to maturity
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage technical deliverables and reporting for government funded charging R&D programs
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and commercial teams to drive successful execution
  • Manage existing residential EV charger products, working closely with external partners and suppliers
  • Collaborate with partners to develop product enhancements, new features, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Master’s degree a plus
  • 5+ years experience in product development, with at least 3 years experience in Project / Program Management
  • Engineering program management experience in the charging, electric vehicle or renewables power conversion industry is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with external vendors, including designers and manufacturers
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence etc.)
  • Experience working with government grants is a plus
  • Compliance experience with UL/IEEE/SAE standards a plus

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $121,500.00 - $151,900.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
