Position Title: Receiving Supervisor

Job Purpose: Responsible for the efficient and accurate shipment/receiving of all orders to customers. Manage hourly workforce to ensure accurate and efficient shipping/receiving operations.

Job Purpose: Responsible for the efficient and accurate shipment/receiving of all orders to customers. Manage hourly workforce to ensure accurate and efficient shipping/receiving operations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain control of all shipments/receipts leaving/entering the Distribution Center; verifying that products are correct, paperwork is correct, and shipment/receipt is closed after departure.
- Manages hourly employees and directs the efficient and safe workflow.
- Responsible for effectively staging loads and organization of the shipping/receiving area.
- Must own the processes and be a willing and helpful team member with all.
- Implementation of improvements in processes and technology implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of related experience preferred, but must have some warehouse experience
- Prior leadership and training successes
- Demonstrates effective communication skills
- Proficient at MS Office, Word, Excel and AS400.
- Fork Truck Operators License is a bonus
- Product knowledge and interest in such is a bonus
- Sitting, talking and listening at least 2/3 of the time
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Stooping and kneeling
- Office and Production environment
- Occasional domestic travel may be required
