What You’ll Do
As an entry-level Water Management Engineer (WME), you’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that includes horticulturists, arborists, landscape architects, agronomists, agriculturalists, agricultural engineers, civil and environmental engineers, and construction managers.
You’ll be working outdoors most days—evaluating sites, collecting data, and helping implement technical solutions for water use, stormwater management, wetlands, and irrigation systems.
This is a field-based position located in Florida, with travel throughout the region in a company-issued vehicle. You’ll work from your home-based office when not in the field.

You’ll be working outdoors most days—evaluating sites, collecting data, and helping implement technical solutions for water use, stormwater management, wetlands, and irrigation systems.

What You’ll Work On
- Site assessments and water balance studies
- Irrigation evaluations (agriculture, golf, and landscape)
- Wetland permitting support and environmental documentation
- Water use permitting
- Stormwater analysis and BMP implementation
- Working with senior engineers and environmental specialists on reports and designs
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or agricultural engineering from an ABET accredited U.S. university
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification (or eligibility to obtain it soon)
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- An interest in hands-on, field-based engineering work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and a desire to grow
