Job Description

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Executive Assistant in our Hughes Network Systems division. This role will be responsible for supporting the COO, Finance, and Internal Audit leaders, and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organization effectiveness and efficiency, to include administrative duties. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD and will be in the office Monday thru Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Management of executive suite (stock kitchen, prepare for visitors and other duties as assigned)
  • Maintain confidentiality, security, and integrity of business and employee information.
  • Coordinate and independently schedule calendars for senior team members.
  • Schedule and manage senior executive travel (domestic and international) using Concur
  • Process expense reports for senior officers of the company.
  • Manage all company catering, approvals, and invoices.
  • Screen incoming calls/correspondence and respond independently when possible.
  • Prepare conference agendas and itineraries for events, both domestic and international.
  • Reconciliation of purchasing cards for multiple departments.
  • Coordinate with other assistants within the division and other business units.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 10+ years of related experience supporting senior-level executives in a professional team environment where collaboration, integrity, and adaptability are key.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Concur and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Focused with a strong attention to detail and able to ensure a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong self-starter attitude with the ability to manage day-to-day activities and responsibilities independently without direct management, oversight, and guidance.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Suite, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Organized problem solver with sound judgment and decision-making experience.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
