Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. is a biomedical platform company operating at the convergence of engineering, biology, and healthcare delivery, aiming to deliver life-changing solutions to patients and their doctors. The Physician Education Program Manager plays a critical role in the design, development, execution, and management of clinical education programs and initiatives for physicians adopting Galvanize Therapeutic’s product portfolio. The role reports to the Sr. Manager of Professional Education and will work cross-functionally to design and implement comprehensive education experiences that accelerate physician onboarding, drive clinical adoption, and ensure safe and effective use of the company’s products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong project management, content development, and communication skills, and brings a collaborative mindset to executing world-class education experiences

Key Responsibilities

Physician Education & Certification

  • Collaborate with the Professional Education Leadership Team to plan, execute, and continuously improve physician (referral pathway and new users) education programs aligned with company and clinical strategy.
  • Manage logistics, faculty coordination, and curriculum execution for physician educational events, including on-site and virtual procedure observations and education at centers of excellence.
  • Co-develop and maintain certification and credentialing processes to ensure consistent education standards across all physician learners.
  • Monitor physician progress through education pathways, track competency milestones, and support certification completion.
  • Maintain a learner management system (LMS), Galvanize App, Aliya BOOST attendance roster, or related tools to track education engagement, course completions, and feedback.

Faculty & KOL Engagement

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and faculty at leading institutions to support peer to peer instruction, mentorship, and programs.
  • Coordinate with KOLs to develop educational content that reflects real-world clinical experience and evolving best practices.
  • Assist in the execution of regional physician education strategies by identifying opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and expanding the network of clinical educators.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Medical Affairs, R&D, Marketing) to ensure education content is aligned with clinical messaging, evolving evidence, and product developments to deliver scalable and innovative approaches to physician education.
  • Act as the liaison between education and Galvanize commercial teams to ensure timely communication of new product launches, educational content, and education needs.
  • Participate in field visits and customer interactions to assess education needs, capture feedback, and translate insights into program improvements.

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and analyze feedback from education events to measure effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
  • Use insights and data to implement curriculum enhancements, new learning formats, or digital tools that elevate the physician education experience.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality systems governing clinical education.

Key Requirements

Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, education, or business-related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, M.Ed, BSN., or clinical background) preferred.

Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial functions (sales, marketing, education) in the Medical Device sector.

  • Experience working with physicians, KOLs, and/or academic medical centers.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, or simulation-based training.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously across timelines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations and collaborating cross-functionally.

Other: Domestic travel up to 30% to attend education events, support physician adoption, engage with KOLs and field sales teams, and attend conference and society meetings.

This role pays between $140,000 and $150,000 per year, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
