The Clinical Client Analyst provides strategic, operational and/or administrative support to the Clinical Consulting department and/or Client Management department. Assistance to Clinical Consultant pharmacists and/or Client Management department may include preparing client deliverables, addressing client inquiries, completing activities required for reporting, and analysis. Act as client and internal resource with strong system and service skills. This position may provide client facing support: sales support, account management support, routine client meetings, client performance review meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and administrative support to Clinical Consultants to help ensure superior account management with focus on client retention/satisfaction
- Deliver high quality reports including appropriate formatting, with minimal supervision
- Prepare client-specific deliverables including, but not limited to, formulary and utilization management extracts, Preferred Drug Lists, clinical program collateral, Medispan updates, P&T documentation
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet internal and client deliverable timelines/deadlines
- Triage inquiries (via mailbox or task intake system) and assure all inquiries are directed and responded to within service level guarantees
- Provide assistance in the implementation/maintenance of clients
- Assist in identifying report automation opportunities to increase efficiencies within the Clinical Consulting department
- Create report documentation and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Working closely with management in preparation for client/finalist meetings. May involve assistance with quarterly performance reviews through reporting and PowerPoint slide creation
- Provide analytical support in the development of clinically focused reports and programs
- Validate source documentation, data, and interpretation of outputs/report results
- Conduct testing and provide results based on given criteria
- Actively participate on client calls, interdepartmental calls, and team meetings, as applicable
- Display an eagerness to learn and grow within the Clinical Consulting team
- Collaborate with other departments outside of Clinical Consulting to meet all expectations, deliverables, and timelines
- Maintain tools (databases, macros, etc.) by developing, organizing, and collaborating
- Serve as subject matter expert in area and has ability to train others. May act as a mentor to Clinical Client Specialist

Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician National Certification (PTCB) where required by state law or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
- 2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy related role or 2+ years of PBM experience
- 2+ years of experience working with Excel (Formatting cells, managing worksheets, functions and formula’s (SUM, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), filtering and sorting data, pivot tables, working with macros
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word (write and modify word documents) and PowerPoint (ability to create and edit slides)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology (NDC, GPI, Therapeutic Class) if not Pharmacy Technician certified
- Experience working in one or more of the following systems: RxClaim (AS400), RxBuilder, RxTrack, Showcase or Attachmate. Specific systems may be used in some roles but not others
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration
- Knowledge of Visio
- Basic to Intermediate level of working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Soft Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize to meet deliverable expectations
- Strong computer and reporting skills: ability to understand, generate, organize, compile, and manipulate data reporting systems with minimal training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and concisely to individuals or groups
- Superior interpersonal, performance management, problem solving and organizational skills

The salary range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
