Research Associate

We are seeking a Research Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories in Santa Fe, NM.

As a Research Associate, you will support the antibody discovery pipeline by performing a variety of technical procedures in a collaborative laboratory environment. Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative healthcare solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing and documenting analytical procedures in compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
• Supporting antibody discovery through techniques such as flow cytometry, PCR, SDS-PAGE, and immunoassays.
• Maintaining mammalian cell lines and performing yeast or bacterial transformations.
• Preparing buffers and solutions and conducting calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Analyzing data and uploading results to the LIMS system under guidance.
• Assisting in troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Providing technical training and supporting to lab personnel in areas of expertise.
• Participating in continuing education and contributing to technical discussions and experimental design.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in method development or relevant laboratory techniques.
• Hands-on experience with cell culturing, pipetting, and analytical instrumentation.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  
  

The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Needed For This Role

• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as flow cytometry, PCR, and immunoassays.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety, sample handling, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve process issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and data analysis skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,800.00 - $129,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
