Job Summary

As the Front End Developer/ Designer you will primarily be responsible for creating engaging user experiences across multiple platforms such as websites, customer relationship platforms, contact service centers, and mobile apps. Local to Trenton NJ.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer/ Designer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with clients or project teams to understand the scope, objectives, and requirements of a project
• Utilize Cloudscape and Amazon Connect Design System to create user-friendly UIs for contact center users.
• Design interactive and responsive layouts for websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Develop prototypes and high-fidelity mockups
• Work closely with developers to ensure design is properly implemented and to troubleshoot any design-related issues
• Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on design
• Consider the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design, and optimize user experience
• Develop new user-facing features to enhance the user experience
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Perform application updates and debugging to ensure high-performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
• Validate user actions on the client-side and providing responses
• Maintain an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices
• Develop and implementing responsive design for mobile sites
  
  

Required

What You'll Need

• 5 years of experience experience designing interactive and responsive layouts for websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces
• Experience with Digital Front Doors (Voice, Web, Mobile, Chat)
• Agent/User Desktop (Amazon Connect, Salesforce)
• Operational Management and Administrator Console/Desktop
• Ability in ensuring all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings
• Experience in developing new user-facing features to enhance the user experience
• Strong organizational skills and strong ability to prioritize workload Required
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff, both internal and externally, in both business and technical
  
  

Preferred

• Experience working with Amazon Web Services suite of products and/or Salesforce
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field Desired
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
  
  

The pay range for this position is $40 - $50 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
