Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

At Orion180, we’re seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to help us build and maintain a best-in-class insurance web portal. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in automated software quality assurance and a drive to apply best practices, modern tools, and continuous improvements in a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Automate Testing Processes: Write and maintain automation test scripts using modern tools to improve testing efficiency and consistency.
  • Manage Test Suites: Ensure our automation suite stays current with code updates and system changes.
  • Track and Report Results: Monitor test dashboards and report failures promptly, ensuring visibility across teams.
  • Build KPI Dashboards: Create visual dashboards that highlight quality improvements and areas requiring attention.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers and participate in Agile stand-ups to align on quality goals.
  • Improve CI/CD Workflows: Support and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience Requirement: Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automated testing.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
  • Automation Expertise: Proven experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts using modern testing tools and frameworks.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Knowledge: Hands-on experience establishing or enhancing CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and testing.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies, modernize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Preferred Technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and MSTest is preferred.
  • Full Stack Testing Experience: Demonstrated experience testing across the full technology stack including SQL, REST API, C# .NET Core, Vue.js, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Database Skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and a strong understanding of relational database design.
  • Agile Experience: Exposure to Agile-Scrum development environments and a collaborative team approach to software delivery.
