Overview
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for the strategic direction of NFI’s marketing initiatives and external communications / digital functions. The individual will work with ownership and senior executives to plan implement and coordinate efforts to promote the NFI brand and culture resulting in greater lead generation growing NFI’s business . The individual will oversee the marketing team that manages branding, production of sales materials including content, trade show participation, public relations, company website development, and advertising driving lead generation. The role will ensure that NFI’s message is distributed across appropriate channels and to targeted audiences. This leader ensures that the sales and marketing teams are aligned and have the tools and assets they need to succeed. The position will report to the CCO / EVP of Sales, Account Management, and Marketing.

Responsibilities
- Act as steward of the company’s brand, ensuring proper, consistent and respectful treatment.
- Recommend and implement innovative marketing ideas through creative content creation to achieve competitive advantages and market differentiation.
- Assist in growth through identification of successful marketing strategies, development of sales tools including customer case studies and collateral to support ongoing sales efforts.
- Coordinate external marketing efforts with industry publications and industry analysts
- Plan and execute NFI’s annual Customer Advisory Board.
- Oversee all online marketing activities [including social media properties and the company website]. Monitor SEO and SEM success via tracking and optimization.
- Coordinate market research with sales leaders and lines of business to grow the business through targeted campaigns in verticals identified for growth.
- Oversee brand transitioning following acquisitions
- Plan, direct and coordinate marketing budget.for a team of 5-7 people.
- Recruit as necessary, promote employee retention, and encourage cross-training within team.
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics for all marketing based activities
- Manage and negotiate with third-party service providers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other closely-related field; Master’s degree a plus
- 10+ years of experience with Marketing//Sales strategy
- Proven track record of success in large corporate environments
- Strong leadership skills and history of managing teams
- Entrepreneurial and energetic
- Strong internal marketer; able to win support from peers, Executive management and front line employees
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Experience in organizational change initiatives
- Ability to travel up to 25%
