PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to work with our PROFIL North America Human Resources Team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist for PROFIL, a PennEngineering company, you’ll collaborate with teams in our Detroit Metro Area Corporate and Manufacturing locations that do truly amazing things.
As a lead in hiring and collaborating with local schools and outreach programs you will drive the effort for the Detroit region to attract diverse and highly talented individuals to our organization; implement Talent Acquisition practices that ensure talent needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind; devise and implement sourcing strategies including partnerships with schools to build pipelines for current and future talent needs; create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to provide a positive experience for candidates and form close relationships with hiring managers to set clear expectations on roles and responsibilities in the hiring process.

What You Will Do
- Regularly partner with the HR Director, plant leadership team, and hiring managers to identify talent needs (current and future) and candidate selection criteria.
- Based on talent needs, develop recruitment strategy plans prioritizing local schools and outreach programs, developing relationships with key contacts and implementing various activities and initiatives to promote PennEngineering and hire early and experienced talent.
- Host on campus and on-site information sessions, sponsor relevant club meetings, recommend student work programs to HR Business Partners that will help build talent pipelines.
- Build brand awareness of our opportunities as an employer of choice by identifying professional organizations for which we should partner, identifying opportunities to sponsor and attend local events
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline, host onsite job fair events as appropriate
- Develop successful hiring profiles and creative sourcing strategies for both hourly and salaried roles to yield diverse and talented candidate pipelines
- Review resumes and screen candidates based on job description and successful hiring profile to meet or exceed hiring manager requirements.
- Partner with HR Director to counsel hiring managers on candidate selection and offer details; create and extend offers and oversee the background check process.
- Lead efforts to engage employees and managers in talent acquisition through lunch and learns about hiring trends, tips, interview skills, internal applicant practices, and processes, talent referral communication and events
- Keep on top of trends in Talent Acquisition and the offerings of local and regional employers in order to position us competitively as a Great Place to Work.
- Ongoing evaluation and assessment of the talent acquisition processes and practices with a focus on a compelling and forward-thinking candidate experience that incorporate technology and provides a highly customer centric experience for hiring managers.

Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's Degree is required; a degree in Human Resources is preferred but not necessary
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist is preferred. Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing workforce is preferred.
- Demonstrated capabilities of building relationships with schools and outreach programs
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Experience engaging and building talent pools with recruitment channels including social media, resume databases, community outreach program, schools and professional networks is required. Hosting events onsite and attending offsite recruitment events is required.
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates is required.
- Expertise in monitoring metrics, reviewing reports and developing data driven recommendations.
- Strong technology capabilities are required including the use of an applicant tracking system preferably as a functional system administrator
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including developing and delivering presentations.
- High sense of urgency and organizational skill
