Your Role as a Shuttle Attendant

About

As a Shuttle Attendant, you'll be the face of Beep, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of passengers while engaging with the community. This is not just a driving position - you'll be educating the public about autonomous technology and helping to create a positive experience for riders! Your role includes:

• Safely operating the shuttle and handling the system interface while in transit.
• Engaging with passengers, answering questions, and promoting the benefits of autonomous transportation.
• Providing manual operations when necessary (with a handheld gaming controller) for added safety.
• Performing basic troubleshooting and vehicle inspections to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and emergency services during critical events.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Availability: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are required.
• Skills: A passion for customer service and communication, with the ability to think quickly and solve problems.
• Tech Enthusiasm: You don't need to be an engineer, but a passion for emerging technologies and mobility is a must!
• Team Player: A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to stay calm during challenging situations.
• Experience: A valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience, plus a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: The ability to work in various environments (outdoors, sitting for extended periods), and lift up to 20 pounds when needed.
• Background and Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a complete background and drug screen prior to start.
