As an Estimator at TMAC, Inc., you'll be responsible for creating precise and competitive project estimates that guide successful project execution. This hybrid role is primarily remote, with occasional site visits or team meetings required. Candidates must reside in Illinois and be familiar with the greater Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural plans and specs to develop detailed cost estimates
• Manage bid opportunities using PlanHub and coordinate subcontractor outreach
• Integrate estimates within Procore for seamless project management
• Perform accurate takeoffs and material cost analysis
• Collaborate with project managers to align budgets with scopes of work
• Maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships to secure competitive pricing
• Identify value engineering solutions to maximize cost efficiency
• Support proposal development and participate in pre-bid meetings or client presentations as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of construction estimating experience
• Proficiency with Procore, PlanHub, and estimating tools (e.g., Bluebeam, STACK)
• Solid knowledge of construction practices, materials, and building codes
• Detail-oriented with strong math, analysis, and communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Must reside in Illinois and be available for periodic in-person meetings or site visits
