Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Facility: Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Location: Hempstead, New York

Shift: Full-Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: $40 - $45 per hour

Job Description:

Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our dedicated team. The RD will be responsible for assessing residents’ nutritional needs, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with the clinical team to promote the health and well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Educate residents and families about dietary needs and restrictions
• Monitor residents’ progress and modify care plans as needed
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and dietary staff to ensure cohesive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) license required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical nutrition and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
