Your Role

• Lead with Excellence: Partner with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure top-quality care delivery.
• Provide Oversight: Conduct rounds to monitor and exceed nursing standards and protocols.
• Deliver Compassionate Resident Care: Address resident needs with empathy, ensuring concerns are resolved swiftly and professionally.
• Ensure Compliance: Actively participate in surveys and audits, ensuring all regulations and standards are met.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Educate and Train: Lead in-service training to keep staff informed on best practices and regulatory changes.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution.
• Collaborate on Care Plans: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and refine personalized care plans for residents.
• Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly and decisively in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of both residents and staff.
• Contribute to Quality Assurance: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving care quality and enhancing the overall experience for residents.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RN License in the state of New York
• Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
