As the General Manager, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and maintaining a high-performance dealership consisting of sales, finance, service, and parts departments. The purpose of the GSM is to ensure maximum success for Bish’s customers, its employees, and it’s growth.

Description
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and maintaining a high-performance dealership consisting of sales, finance, service, and parts departments. The purpose of the GSM is to ensure maximum success for Bish’s customers, its employees, and it’s growth.
What You'll Do
- Hire, train, and motivate all department managers
- Maintain in-stock levels through precise inventory management.
- Meets with managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review actual performance
- Create and execute individual performance plans with team members and managers
- Monitor customer service feedback to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop unique ways to drive sales through events, community activities and local marketing campaigns
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel
- Generate ideas to exceed sales goals and demonstrate best revenue- generating practices to the team and organization
- Plan and manage budgets by initiating and assessing cost control techniques
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Must be a highly detailed process driven leader and be able to hold the staff accountable for results
- Must possess a strong track record of superior results in a high-volume dealership
- Demonstrated dealership sales experience and management of a revenue generating team
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales management, merchandising, inventory, shrinkage control, security methods and consumer behavior
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills
- An awesome attitude with impeccable interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Value in all interactions with customers and co-workers
