The Head of Product Development, Financial Markets is critical to assuring success for our new and existing FM product portfolio. TNS offers excellent benefits and competitive salary Responsibilities The VP of Product Development Financial Markets will assist in the development of new technologies for our products that will solve our client’s challenges in a rapidly changing technology environment. This role will also be focused on enhancing the existing product portfolio for the TNS Financial Markets business to ensure we are always leveraging the best available technology for our clients. This role will be a key member of the Financial Markets leadership team and help set the strategic direction for the TNS Financial Markets business and then support the execution of that vision. This vision should focus on how to maximize revenue and profit growth over long term with a pragmatic view of how to navigate the short term in line with TNS financial goals Evaluate and lead internal tool transformation

• Evaluate the existing tool set TNS leverages today
• Interview existing users across the organization to understand pain points with existing tools and processes
• Propose incremental and transformative changes to how TNS leverages tools using both existing and new tools
• Build a team of developers to help implement proposed changes

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the TNS Financial Markets offering

• Evaluate new technologies and trends to help set the technology roadmap for the FM business
• Meet with clients to discuss requirements and technical roadmaps
• Propose new technologies for the FM business

Lead Financial Markets Application and Support team

• Provide leadership and guidance for the Financial Markets Application and Support team
• Create roadmaps and set priorities to support this evolving product set and the internal teams that leverage this group
• Work with internal stakeholders including sales and operations to support growth and deliver for customers

Leadership

• Active member of the Financial Markets and Operations leadership teams that is expected to help set the strategic direction and navigate unforeseen challenges for the FM business
• Providing mentorship and build up/challenge employees to ensure TNS gets the most out of its team and team members get the most out of their time at TNS
• Build relationships across functions (Operations, Product Management, Sales, etc) in TNS to support the FM business as needed
• This role includes direct management of employees

Qualifications Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of progressive technical financial markets related experience minimum
• Experience creating and bringing to market new products and technologies
• 10+ years of development and/or engineering experience
• 10+ year leading technical teams with a successful track record of achieving goals
• Must have a deep understanding of financial markets ecosystem across all use cases (HF, Prop, Bank, FCM, ISV, etc)
• Deep understanding of the existing TNS FM product portfolio and a vision of where we should be going
• Ability to meet with senior technical leadership at FM organizations (clients, prospects, partners, etc) and confidently discuss the TNS FM product portfolio/technical roadmap
• A thorough understanding and commercial awareness of the marketplace including customer needs
• For this role, we anticipate paying $234,000k - $286,000K. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
