Company: Asahi Kasei America, Inc Job Description: We are driving digital transformation in the design, factory operations, and home construction trade sectors of Synergos to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. We are seeking an Enterprise Applications Operational Analyst to act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, efficient process optimization, functional application support, and successful digital transformation initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Operations Support Functional Knowledge:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all enterprise applications and point solutions including how business teams utilize them.
  • Provide expert guidance on business processes and system functionalities.
Process Analysis & Optimization:
  • Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for process automation and optimization.
Solution Evaluation:
  • Assess potential solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support implementation by providing business validation and performance tracking.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze business data to support decision-making and provide insights.
  • Work with the data team to develop reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI.
Change management Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as a bridge between business teams and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and priorities.
  • Coordinate and manage business priorities effectively to align with overall company objectives.
Third-Party Relationships:
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless execution of business applications and digital solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirement Gathering:
  • Identify and analyze business needs, collecting requirements from stakeholders.
  • Document functional requirements, user stories, and business cases.
Documentation & Specification Writing:
  • Create detailed functional requirement documents (FRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with design and implementation teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
Testing & User Training:
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
IT Internal Tasks
  • Adhere to SOX procedures.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for the applications group.
  • Assist with application troubleshooting as required
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Technical competencies
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT, manufacturing, or digital transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and construction management operational systems.
  • Experience in process improvement and automation using digital tools like Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, TeamGuru, Zaptic, etc.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong documentation skills, including FRDs, functional specifications, and business process modeling.
  • Business-level proficiency in English, especially in technical communication (reading/writing).
  • Experiencing with ticketing tools (ServiceNow) a plus.
Non-technical competencies
  • Proactive problem-solver passionate about improving business processes through digital solutions.
  • Effective capabilities to notice, observe and understand different stakeholder concerns and purposes from different domains of the business (i.e., executive/management, office, design, factory operations, field operations).
  • Strong communicator, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Team spirit and good multicultural interpersonal skills.
Education /Experience:
  • College diploma, university degree, or equivalent business experience in the fields of business administration, manufacturing, accounting, Supply chain or management information systems.
  • 2-4 years’ experience supporting Enterprise applications.
  • Experience operating in a SOX compliant organization.
