Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer / Design Support Specialist to join our award-winning team in Tampa.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter/Cabinet Designer with a foundation in residential cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or solid working knowledge of cabinet construction, layouts, and components. This role involves creating accurate and functional cabinet designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and full home remodels using 2020 Design software. While proficiency in 2020 is a plus, we are happy to provide training for the right candidate who brings cabinet-specific expertise.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience. ($55,000 - $65,000)
Cabinet Designing
Working knowledge of cabinet construction, layout, and terminology; experience in residential kitchen and bath design is preferred.
Will be responsible for drafting accurate and functional cabinet designs for remodeling projects using 2020 Design software (training provided if needed)
Collaborate with sales, design, and project management teams to produce clear, buildable drawings and 3D renderings.
Drafting & Permitting
Create 2D & 3D floor plans for kitchens, bathrooms, and full home remodels
Draft technical drawings for permit submission (basic knowledge of Florida Building Code preferred)
Convert designs into 3D using SketchUp, Revit, or similar software
Assist with submission packages for local permitting offices
Requirements
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to utilize 2020 design software/ AutoCAD/Revit/SketchUp or similar software is a PLUS (not required)
Ability to work well with customers and team members
Excellent communication skills
Eager to learn and make an immediate impact
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
