Description

  • Working as a team leader that coordinates marketing resources, internal and/or third party external, in the creation and execution of marketing plans for the assigned Business Units.
  • Manage the assigned products and systems. The product manager is responsible for all aspects of the business unit including scope and description, positioning, new product/initiative development and product validation where required by committee or outside vendor.
  • Develop marketing plans in coherence with the overall brand positioning and in collaboration with business unit leaders.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for the assigned business units.
  • Utilize appropriate marketing tools to promote the product and services of business units including, but not limited to, e-commerce, email blasts, promotional materials, literature, advertising, public relations, white papers, trade shows, direct mail, and appropriate social media tools.
  • Research industry customer costs and competitive selling points. Maintain database of product/service offering positioning.
  • Maintain sales histories and lead times.
  • Become the expert in the assigned product line to include application, technical aspects, history, benefits and features and competitive products
  • Trade show logistics support and attendance at key trade shows to learn business units’ markets and support sales efforts.
  • Sales strategies will be proposed by the Product Manager and will be jointly decided upon with appropriate Business Unit leaders and Business Development liaison.
  • Conduct market research as needed to identify opportunities for new products and markets and for ways to differentiate the Company's products and services for enhanced profitability. Once opportunities are identified, liaison with respective business unit leaders and functional staff for commercialization.
  • Develop and conduct product presentations to clients with Business Development liaison.
  • Assist IT with website Search Engine Optimization.
  • Contribute as one of the department’s decision makers for various projects.
  • Listens to instructions and executes based on instructions given.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Assists the Department Leader in various projects as directed.
  • Collaborates with other departments or department leaders to ensure appropriate inclusiveness.
  • Adheres to the Company’s policies, procedures, code of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Operates at all times in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned by the Department leader or Company executive.
  • Other duties as assigned
