- Responsibilities include documenting patient narratives, obtaining biological samples, and serving as a medical witness in judicial proceedings.
- The role emphasizes clinical excellence, professional development, teamwork, ethics, and research for forensic patients.
- Requirements include a graduate of an approved nursing program, MO RN license, and completion of a 40-hour SANE course within 45 days of hire; SANE-A certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes 2 years of SANE work. Skills needed are strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, time management, and ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
