SEO Content Editor

Job Summary

The SEO Content Editor is a highly motivated individual with advanced proofing, writing, content curation, and communication skills. This role requires proficiency in SEO content development and the ability to provide constructive and helpful feedback to writers on the team.

The SEO Content Editor will help to proofread for grammar, typographical errors, and phrasing, adhering to a wide variety of style requirements and client requests. This role includes collaboration with the content team to develop digital content across client verticals. As a forward-thinking individual, this person has experience with content curation, taking existing, new, and AI content to create complete and compelling pieces of SEO content. The best candidate will have a passion for proofing and creating content for multiple verticals and various styles of digital content, including blogs, landing pages, and FAQs.

Responsibilities

• Proof and edit content to improve quality of work
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material
• Identify training needs for individual writers and team
• Curate compelling SEO content from various sources, including AI
• Modify or revise content in response to client or managerial feedback
• Write SEO content for multiple verticals, including for dentists, veterinarians, CPAs, and more
• Work independently and collaboratively while adhering to strict deadlines
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly proofing and writing goals
• Work with content writers to maintain quality standards
• Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2-4 years of proofing and digital copywriting experience
• Experience with developing/curating digital content
• Previous digital agency experience preferred
• A portfolio of completed projects and examples of your proofing/writing ability
• Current knowledge of SEO best practices and digital trends
  
  

Physical/Mental Requirements For The Job

• Can work with a diverse team of remote and in-person individuals
• Prolonged periods of sitting
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends, if deemed necessary
