Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the flow of goods and services from our warehouse to customers, including oversight of 3PL warehouse operations and coordination of international shipments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics systems and processes, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the flow of goods and services from the warehouse to customers.
• Develop and implement logistics plans and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Track and report on warehouse performance metrics such as on-time delivery and cost savings.
• Manage warehouse vendors to ensure order requirements are met with accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse order status reports, including KPIs, open orders, and closed order performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and warehouse vendors.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, order accuracy, and distribution.
• Coordinate shipments to South America from the Miami hub and local facilities, ensuring customs compliance, timely delivery, and accurate shipment documentation.
• Monitor product serial numbers in the shop floor database; investigate and resolve any related issues.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics service providers.
• Perform additional duties as required; job functions are subject to change at any time.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics systems and analytical processes.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping documentation.
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management and logistics.
• Experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This position is based in our Fremont, CA office, with occasional domestic travel required for vendor meetings, warehouse visits, or project support (approximately 10%).
