  • This is a hybrid position. Our corporate office is located at 7440 S. Hwy 121 McKinney, TX 75070

What you’ll Do:

Oversee daily operations of two AP teams by managing workload delegation, ensuring SLA compliance, and maintaining effective communication and support across teams. Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor and invoice issues, while coordinating with offshore partners and leading initiatives in training, automation, and process improvement. Support talent management through hiring, performance evaluations, and compliance with SOX controls.

  • Ensure consistent communication and support to department employees
  • Serve as primary liaison for resolving escalated or complex vendor and invoice issues
  • Effectively delegate workload across two AP teams to meet all SLAs and processing deadlines
  • Monitor Esker queues to ensure timely handling and team responsiveness
  • Coordinate with offshore processing team to manage handoffs, maintain quality, and escalate exceptions
  • Oversee training of new and existing employees on department processes, systems, and Esker workflows
  • Evaluate employee performance in preparation for career development discussions and performance reviews
  • Lead or support initiatives related to automation, process improvement, and reporting analytics
  • Review and approve timecards and time-off requests
  • Take appropriate action in addressing performance or conduct concerns in partnership with leadership
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing internal controls to ensure SOX-compliant invoice processing
  • Review resumes, screen, and interview potential hires
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements We Look For:

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory or team lead experience
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years Accounts Payable or related financial operations experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with Esker or other SaaS-based AP automation platforms strongly preferred
  • Ability to respond professionally and calmly under pressure
  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Experience with DMSI, P2P, OCR, or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Dynamics GP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and accountability-driving skills required
  • Experience overseeing offshore teams or shared service centers is a plus
