Position Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator functions as a member of the Volunteer Services team and reports to the Manager of Volunteer Services ARRMC and AACH. This position administers the volunteer program, coordinates and directs the activities of volunteers, and advances the vision of Asante Volunteer Services. The Volunteer Coordinator performs a variety of administrative support functions including scheduling, communications, database management and other duties as assigned in addition to volunteer relationship management.

Position Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree in business or health related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree is required.
- Bachelor's degree in business or health related field, preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive program coordination and clerical experience providing knowledge and experience with managing projects.
- Knowledge of volunteer administration.
- Ability to organize, assume and delegate responsibility, relate effectively with people of diverse socio-economic backgrounds, skills and abilities, and communicate skillfully and effectively.
- Knowledge in adult education principles; adept at public speaking.
- Literate in computer skills to include database management, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Word.
