The Manager III’s primary function is to ensure all requirements of the Performance Work Statement / Statement of Work (PWS / SOW) are met or exceeded for the contract including managing, coordinating, and integrating corporate resources (human, material, facility, capital) to ensure full compliance with the PWS and all services are performed within quality standards, and cost objects supporting the mission of WSC.

This position manages all employees in the appropriate line of business and is responsible for the performance management, discipline, and hiring of the employees within the facility
Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office environment and various operational settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as extreme heat and / or cold, exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to sit, and employee is required to talk and hear, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

This is a full-time position, forty hours per
work,
occasional evening and weekend work may be required
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected for conferences

Essential Functions

- Ensures all requirements of the PWS/SOW are met or exceeded
- Maintains liaison with required individuals as assigned from the contract on a daily basis, providing recommendations and data for the facility operation, maintenance, renovation, and construction as needed
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring all employees are trained as required
- Responsible for workforce development, including recruitment, hiring, discipline, and recognition, serving as the hiring authority for direct line managers, delegating hiring authority for other positions as needed
- Designs and implements training and qualification programs to ensure qualified applicants are available as vacancies occur, promoting upward mobility
- Ensures all direct line managers are thoroughly knowledgeable of all provisions of the PWS / SOW, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and personnel policies as required
- Ensures that regulatory requirements of the Ability One program are met or exceeded within the contract
- Ensures all reports, correspondence, and contractual documents are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner

Establishes a feedback system to ensure deficiencies are identified and
corrected
ensuring the highest level of customer service is consistently maintained
- Partner with contracting to ensure timely renewal of existing contracts

Responsible for
the financial
planning, ordering processes, and inventory control to meet operation, and developing and monitoring budgeting activities
- Assists company officers and senior staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, programs, and objectives
- Directs and monitors direct line managers to accomplish goals of the PWS / SOW
- Develops contingency plans to sustain operations during shortages, inclement weather, and other unforeseen circumstances

Required Education and Experience
- High school graduate

Five years’ supervisory experience
required
- Five years’ experience managing contracts
- Basic knowledge of various equipment used in accordance with the contracts PWS / SOW
- Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting and repair in accordance with the contracts PWS / SOW
- Computer literate
Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management

Master’s Degree in Business Management
- Other Professional Certifications
Licenses/Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License with certificate of insurability (corporate auto policy)
