Analog Devices is looking for an experienced Process Engineering Manager at our expanding Beaverton, OR facility to lead our Thin Films modules team. Experience within the Thin Film’s modules is a plus but is not required. The position reports to the Process Engineering Director and is responsible for leading a team of 8-10 process engineers and technicians to drive improvements and innovations to consistently meet production goals.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $118,800 to $163,350.

Analog Devices is looking for an experienced Process Engineering Manager at our expanding Beaverton, OR facility to lead our Thin Films modules team. Experience within the Thin Film’s modules is a plus but is not required. The position reports to the Process Engineering Director and is responsible for leading a team of 8-10 process engineers and technicians to drive improvements and innovations to consistently meet production goals.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage and lead a team of process engineers and technicians in a high volume, semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Consistently demonstrate proactive communication to establish clear direction and alignment on priorities and metrics.
- Work with your direct reports to develop and improve individual and team performance through mentoring, coaching and performance assessments.
- Lead structured problem-solving efforts in response to equipment signals, process shifts and/or discrepant material events.
- Drive continuous improvements in production yield and quality through robust quality systems.
- Proactively partner with production operations to improve overall operational efficiency and cycle time.
- Establish a safe and healthy work environment by maintaining and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal requirements and regulations.
- B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
- Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with preference for Thin Films Process and Tool expertise.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, device fabrication and process control
- Experience with data analysis to drive process improvements and optimization
- Leadership experience to manage and direct a team effectively
- Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Analytical skills to understand and solve complex problems related to semiconductor manufacturing
- Strong communication skills to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
