The Maintenance Engineer will be primarily responsible for independently troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, electrical systems, and commercial kitchen equipment critical to hotel operations. This includes refrigeration units, ovens, grills, steam tables, and other essential kitchen appliances.
In addition, this role involves general maintenance and operation of mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, generators, lighting systems, and other equipment powered by electricity, steam, air, gas, diesel, or water. The technician will also be expected to support the upkeep and functionality of all facility systems commonly found throughout the Resort property.

Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off.

The pay rate for this role in California is $35.36 per hour.

The Maintenance Engineer will be primarily responsible for independently troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, electrical systems, and commercial kitchen equipment critical to hotel operations. In addition, this role involves general maintenance and operation of mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, generators, lighting systems, and other equipment powered by electricity, steam, air, gas, diesel, or water. The technician will also be expected to support the upkeep and functionality of all facility systems commonly found throughout the Resort property.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and fix A/C and Refrigeration systems as related to a hotel/restaurant environment
- Operate, fix, and maintain the industrial-laundry facility and equipment to include washers, dryers, ironers, spreaders, folders, and steam presses
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen appliances such as:
- Commercial ovens, fryers, steamers, and grills
- Walk-in coolers and freezers (electrical components)
- Dish machines and sanitizers
- Food warmers, mixers, and prep equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairing electrical systems/assemblies, lamping, installation of receptacles, switches, bending conduit, and resetting breakers
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Ability to complete work orders in the computerized maintenance program
- Understand energy managements systems and operators
- Able to fix electrical and mechanical systems
- 3+ years of experience working with Hot and cold side of commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and safety protocols
- Must have EPA 608 certificate or Universal Certificate
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
- Interact with Guest and other cast members answering questions, providing directions, event information, and other service to create a magical experience for our Guests
- Schedule Availability - Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st – Day Shift, 2nd – Swing Shift, and 3rd – Graveyard Shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off
- Prior experience in the maintenance of hotel guest rooms and public spaces
