We are currently recruiting a Surgical Scheduler to help us continue the tradition of providing quality care to patients at Midwest Fertility located in Ft. Wayne, IN.
POSITION SUMMARY: Full time Monday-Friday regular business hours, with full benefits offered.

POSITION SUMMARY: Full time Monday-Friday regular business hours, with full benefits offered.
The Surgical Scheduler professionally engages Axia Women’s Health patients by:
- Promptly and professionally scheduling appointments for patients either by phone or in person after an office visit;
- scheduling surgeries and coordinating with hospital, surgery center and/or other provider offices
- checking insurance benefits
- setting up surgical payment plans with our patients
- communicate clearly with patients, internal and external affiliates
- Check answering service or voicemail for patients requesting appointments; call and schedule patients accordingly;
- Use manual/computerized system to match physician/clinician availability with patients’ preferences in terms of date and time;
- Schedule patient appointment per guidelines, and finalize patient schedules for previous day;
- Communicate as need with providers/office manager about patient concerns/issues relating to scheduling;
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients;
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- eClinical Works experience is a strong plus
- Fertility or OB/GYN experience preferred, not a requirement
