Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customer support, and external stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of our emergency dispatch software. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and has experience managing complex software development or technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including clients, product teams, and engineering.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, ensuring team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and key milestones.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
- Manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in software development, public safety, or technology implementation projects.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Concentrating for long periods of time.
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- Communicating in person, through web chat, or email for long periods of time.
- Analyzing and interpreting data for long periods of time.
- Managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Effectively managing stakeholders and teams through project completion.
