DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join a team developing the full stack embedded architecture for new product development.

How you will make an impact as a Software Engineer in Test:

• Ensure the highest level of software performance, reliability and quality
• Help evolve DEKA's software processes as we grow the product
• Solve technical challenges while upholding high performance standards
  
  

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5+ years of combined automation testing and developmentexperience, including development of embedded machine control applications using C++ in a Linux environment.
• 2+ years, hands on experience with Linux Real-time Patched Kernel.
• Hands on experience with orchestration, continuous integration, continuous deployment and operation of manufacturing controls platforms and tools.
• Hands on experience in testing methodologies, and commitment to quality in continuous operations
• Exposure to and understanding of security standards and security design
• Proficient in writing detailed design specifications, diagrams, documentation, operating procedures, and test plans/test reports
• Excellent communications skills, capable of working with cross-functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner.
• Strong distributed system networking and debugging skills
• Distributed messaging systems exposure: Linux Sockets (ZMQ), MQTT, and REST API
• DevOps Tools Exposure: Ansible, Artifactory and GitLab
• Security Test Tools Exposure: OpenScap, CVE Scan and etc
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Docker deployment and operational experience
• C++ development/ deployment experience including cmake
• Python development/ deployment experience
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP5 regulatory standards exposure
