Mid Valley Disposal is looking for a motivated Dispatcher to join our Operations Team. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping a team achieve success, this position is perfect for you! As a Dispatcher, youll play a key role in managing communication with drivers, assisting with problem resolution while on the route, and ensuring exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers to calls and coordinate customer needs, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Assign routes and service tickets, ensuring completion by the end of the day.
• Receive incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales, handling requests for pick-up or container delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth pick-up and delivery service.
• Achieve maximum productivity by routing vehicles efficiently and meeting company-established goals.
• Maintain accurate route sheet documentation and assist drivers with on-site coordination.
• Provide customer service and handle inquiries professionally via phone, email, and 2-way devices.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and support the driver check-in process.
  
  

Experience And Education

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient with industry-specific software applications and Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
