We are a leading component manufacturer specializing in wall panels, floor systems, and roof trusses for the multi-family construction sector. With a dedicated workforce of 100 employees and a strong reputation for quality and efficiency, we serve top-tier builders and developers across the region. We are entering a new phase of strategic growth and looking for a dynamic, hands-on President to lead us forward.

We are seeking a proven and energetic President to lead our organization with a blend of strategic leadership and operational depth. This role will oversee a team of three experienced Vice Presidents and serve as the face of the company to key external partners, particularly within banking and finance. The ideal candidate will take the time to deeply understand the business, the people, and the processes — earning credibility from the ground up.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide clear and motivating leadership to the entire organization, including direct management of 3 Vice Presidents (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc.)
  • Lead with vision, aligning operational efforts with long-term strategic goals.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.

Business Immersion

  • Learn the ins and outs of the business – from production to finance to customer engagement.
  • Spend time on the floor, with crews, and alongside each VP to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and team dynamics.

Operations Oversight

  • Guide and support operational improvements across manufacturing, logistics, and quality control.
  • Partner with the VP of Operations to optimize production processes, capacity planning, and throughput.

Financial & Banking Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top financial partners.
  • Establish credibility with lenders and stakeholders by understanding the business metrics and financial levers.
  • Ensure strong reporting, forecasting, and financial stewardship in collaboration with the VP of Finance.

Organizational Development

  • Develop leadership talent across the organization; mentor and coach VPs and department heads.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture grounded in continuous improvement and hands-on leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as President, COO or similar executive role within manufacturing, preferably in building components or construction-related sectors.
  • Experience with ESOPs (Employee Stock Ownership Plans) is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes; experience with engineered products like trusses, wall panels, or similar components is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with banking partners and investors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, foster trust, and unite diverse teams under a common vision.
  • Track record of learning a business quickly, gaining trust, and driving results.
  • Comfortable getting hands-on — not afraid to spend time on the shop floor or in production meetings.
