Summary Description: Responsible for proofreading, editing, and mailing all collection letter correspondence within the collection department and working skip list and asset lists as assigned. This position also provides backup to the firm's front desk by: handling multiple telephone lines, greeting visitors, and creating a welcoming environment that is professional, but friendly. Preferred schedule for this position would be Monday-Friday, 9am - 5:30pm OR 7:30am-4pm.
Collections Administrative Duties/Responsibilities:

Collections Administrative Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responding to requests in a timely and professional manner
- Proofreading, editing and mailing all collection correspondence within the collection department
- Creating, proofreading, and editing all collection letter correspondence within the collections department as needed
- Working skip list and asset lists as assigned
- Notating power of attorneys
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
- High team and customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sense of urgency, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work well in a fast pace environment
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Good written communication skills and mathematical abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions on routine matters, seeking guidance from supervisor in unusual situations
- Good Front Desk professional demeanor and ability to handle multiple phone lines while greeting customers and clients
- Hard working, punctual, and the ability to work well in a high volume call and fast paced environment
- Ability to respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure client and customer relations
- Works well with little to no supervision
- Creates, proofreads and edits all Collection Letter Correspondence within the Collections Department
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Notifies authority if unsafe situation arises (Panic Button)
