About The Role
We're hiring a Vice President of Growth to lead and integrate our growth efforts across paid media, lifecycle marketing, and e-commerce. This person will own the demand-side forecast and be accountable for Contribution Margin, CAC, MER, and overall spend efficiency. You'll report directly to a founder and work alongside our Sr. Creative Director as the senior leader responsible for the full customer acquisition and retention funnel.
This is a strategy and performance role-not focused on day-to-day execution, but on driving results through smart planning, clear structure, and cross-functional alignment.

About The Role

What you"ll own
- Forecast ownership and performance accountability: Contribution Margin, MER, aMER, CAC, LTV, AOV, CVR, RPS, etc with a strategic focus on connecting it to the financial model in partnership with the Controller to drive Free Cash Flow optimization. If these acronyms aren't second nature to you, this role isn't the right fit.
- Accountability (not execution) for channel performance: Meta, Google, Linear TV, Amazon, Audio, email/SMS, partnerships, affiliate
- Oversight of lifecycle marketing: email/SMS strategy and customer retention performance
- Leadership of the e-commerce function: conversion rate optimization, site performance, merchandising strategy
- Management of agency relationships and performance vendors
- Work closely with the Controller to ensure forecast inputs are grounded in marketing performance data and drive clarity in revenue and contribution expectations.
- Alignment with brand and creative teams to ensure assets are optimized for performance
- Management and development of the performance marketing, retention, and ecomm teams
In 90 Days:
- You've taken full ownership of the forecast and driven 1–2 meaningful improvements
- You've developed a clear POV on what's working, what's not, and where the biggest opportunities lie
- Teams and partners are aligned under your leadership with clear direction and accountability
- You've built a roadmap for improving CAC efficiency and CM outcomes
- Contribution Margin is growing, ad spend is more efficient, and cash flow is stronger
- You fully own the commercial outcomes: profitable growth, healthy margins, and strong Free Cash Flow
- You're seen as a long-term leader inside the company- respected, trusted, and invested in the mission
- A strategic and analytical leader with deep experience in performance marketing across multiple channels
- Highly fluent in e-commerce KPIs: Contribution Margin, MER, aMER, CAC, LTV, AOV, CVR, RPS, etc
- Able to lead media strategy, manage agency relationships, and own performance outcomes
- Confident working closely with creative, brand, and finance teams to drive results
- A strong people manager who can coach and develop team members
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, founder-led, growth environment
- Mission-driven and excited to build something lasting, American-made, and meaningful
