As FairCom’s Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
- Articulate the unique market strengths of our highly technical database software.
- Be versatile; bring your experience to work strategically at the leadership level and roll your sleeves up to work as an individual contributor.
- Own all promotions and place initiatives, including strategic oversight of digital marketing, end-to-end email campaign development and execution, comprehensive content management, seamless trade show execution, and optimization of other applicable channels.
- Practice servant leadership in your role and as the Manager of the marketing team.
- Travel to events and other office locations- expect to travel 30-35% of the year.
- Develop FairCom’s brand and voice, ensuring alignment across departments, content, and all customer touchpoints.
The Day-to-Day
- Strategize, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns that attract and convert potential customers into MQLs, ultimately contributing to the sales pipeline and revenue growth.
- Seek out, plan, prepare, and attend trade shows and events.
- Utilize HubSpot to convert & nurture leads, automate repetitive marketing tasks, and analyze the performance and effectiveness of campaigns.
- Maximize the volume of inbound traffic from search engines to the company’s website through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization (SSO), content strategy, information architecture, and more.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Work with our Product, Engineering, & Sales teams to define personas or target channels to fine-tune messaging for campaigns, posts, and the website.
- Manage the marketing team as well as all related tasks such as hiring, training, project management, and performance management.
- 3+ years of experience in Marketing management roles with a proven track record.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B Technology or SAAS Marketing.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Marketing software systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Drift, Bots, etc.
- Knowledge of program and project management methodology are required to drive early-stage planning and cross-functional execution.
- Strong track record that shows successful go-to-market strategies and programs with measurable impacts on revenue contribution.
- Familiar with the basic concepts of a typical IT infrastructure, like servers, storage, business applications (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.), and the role a database plays in it.
- Master of Business Administration or other advanced Marketing/Technical education a plus.
- Continued skill development such as Google Adwords certification or HubSpot Academy certifications.
- Experience with the following: FairCom DB, RTG, EDGE, IoT/IIoT.
