DIVISION: Extended School Enrichment
REPORTS TO: Site Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt; Part-Time; Starting at $13/hour

- Manage participant behavior in a positive, respectful manner
- Maintain reliable attendance to maintain safety and the staff to child ratio
- Facilitate a variety of daily enrichment and academic activities, including but not limited to arts, sports, science, and homework
- Consistently model and guide participants in character development
- Implement and model respect for all spaces and materials used
- With team, supervise up to 125+ children, from grades K – 6
- Attend and participate in meetings and trainings
- Enforce rules and regulations with program participants
- Ensure adherence to established safety procedures
- Follow program structure
- Provide CPR/first aid
- Ensure first aid supplies and emergency equipment are in order and accessible
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other related work as required
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills with parents, teachers, and other childcare workers
- Ability to learn and enforce the safety and operating rules
- Ability to maintain attention and high level of motivation and enthusiasm for extended periods of time
- Ability to be patient and understanding when working with children and interacting with parents/guardians
- Some knowledge of childcare principles and procedures
- Must be at least 16 years of age and have access to reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check that encompasses national, state, and local searches
