Position Description

As a Production Support Team Member, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Support production through data entry activities, data analysis, and shop order documentation within a manufacturing area
  • Perform shop order operation closing at each step in the manufacturing process
  • Ensure data received is complete and accurate
  • Read and understand shop order operations and sequences
  • Follow production schedules and meet production and quality goals
  • Perform and coordinate material movement
  • Monitor daily labor times and other tracking reports as required
  • Understand and follow Applied Manufacturing’s Quality Systems (QS) as well as required SOP’s, Manufacturing Instructions, and all other applicable training
  • Understand and comply with safety rules and company policies

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to use computers and related software such as SAP, Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on a 1st or 2nd work shift in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work with chemicals such as Isopropyl alcohol and plastic products
  • Attention to detail
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Read, write, speak and comprehend English
