We’re seeking a hands-on leader with 10+ years of experience in heavy equipment and diesel repair, a deep understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and the ability to manage a shop with a focus on quality, safety, and uptime.

We’re seeking a hands-on leader with 10+ years of experience in heavy equipment and diesel repair, a deep understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and the ability to manage a shop with a focus on quality, safety, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the shop
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various equipment types
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
- Supervise and mentor junior mechanics and technicians
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company expectations
- Coordinate with operations teams for timely equipment availability
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Be available for overtime and emergency repairs as needed
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic diagnostics
- Previous experience managing or leading a mechanical team or shop preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence
