The Management Analyst will provide senior-level staff with project management and other analytical support in a variety of administrative programs and initiatives. The Management Analyst will provide senior-level staff with project management and other analytical support in a variety of administrative programs and initiatives. A well-qualified and enthusiastic candidate is being sought to help lead teams or individually conduct in-depth studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of both existing and to-be-developed projects.
- Designs and conducts comprehensive management studies where the boundaries of the subject are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
- Prepares a variety of comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers which identify problems, assess the overall condition of work completed or in progress and outlines issues, solutions, and recommendations.
- Initiates and executes very complex administrative/management projects.
- Utilizes expert skills in studying work methods, administrative guidelines, procedures, utilization of human resources, work assignments, delegations of authority, management controls, information, and documentation systems, etc.
- Analyzes and evaluates findings and recommends more efficient, effective, and economical ways to accomplish workload and program objectives.
- Researches and identifies new concepts and techniques.
- Develops organizational charts, contact lists, milestone charts, budgets for work modules, schedules, and other information to facilitate monitoring and carrying out key projects.
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge as an expert analyst who has mastered the application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex management processes and systems.
- Skill in researching policies and Federal regulations.
- Skill in written communications to prepare and present recommendations and solutions effectively, including the preparation of written reports, instructions, and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate orally to provide recommendations and make presentations.
