Your Impact
The Core Program Supervisor (CPS) is responsible for oversight of direct care staff and the provision of quality services according to funder and regulatory policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include supervision of staff and volunteers, coordination of services and adherence to program design. CPS is responsible for upholding and supervising to the Agency’s operational, financial, personnel and practice rules, policies and procedures.
The Community Resource Specialist (CRS) will provide engagement, case management and facilitation of classes, workshops, events, etc. The CRS interfaces with center attendees to provide information regarding community resources and when indicated provides referrals, linkages and warm hand offs to needed services.

Your Skills And Duties
Core Program Supervisor
- Assist in hiring, training new staff, and volunteers
- Provide day to day direction and supervision of direct care staff
- Oversee provision of services to contract and agency standards
- Oversee program within operational, financial, personnel, and practice standards
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Assess Center participant’s needs for additional community resources
- Conduct ASQs
- Connect families with available community resources
- Provide workshops and parenting classes
- Facilitate events and community provider workshops
- Educate all Center participants of available community resources
- Initiate and support parent support groups
- Participate in, and conduct, program related trainings
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a BA in a related field or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of early childhood development.
- Supervised or served as lead for direct care staff, preferred
- Experience working with parents of children 0-5
- Knowledge of Community Resources
- Provide Training to parents and or staff
- Experience in serving as liaison to resources in the community
- Strong engagement and relational skills
- Experience providing Evidence Based curriculum
- Experience working in a family resource center, First 5 Center, child development or preschool setting
