Agency Summary

The Service Oklahoma (SOK) mission is to ease the stress in navigating government services by providing a best-in-class customer experience. We are Oklahomans helping Oklahomans by providing driver license and motor vehicle services on behalf of the state.

This position has an annual rate of $65,000.

The Service Oklahoma offers a generous benefits package, including a benefits allowance to off-set the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans. The Service Oklahoma will match up to 7% towards an employee’s Defined Contribution retirement plan. Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave. Additionally, employees will receive longevity payments based on their years of service with the State of Oklahoma.

Position Summary

The Partnership Coordinator directly assists the Director of External Education and Partnerships in developing, executing and overseeing a highly strategic, innovative, and collaborative plan to identify and engage critical partners, including, but not limited to licensed operators, auto dealers, drive schools, third party examiners and partner agencies, as well as to design and deliver educational programs to external stakeholders. The position is accountable for ensuring effective educational initiatives and relationship management internally and externally for Service Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in implementing comprehensive educational programs for external partners, including workshops, webinars, and seminars tailored to their needs.
  • Assists in creating, updating, and disseminating educational materials, such as manuals, guides, videos, and online resources, to ensure partners are well-informed about Service Oklahoma’s processes, policies, and updates.
  • Assists in collaborating with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure educational content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Assists in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development among external partners by promoting best practices, new technologies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assists in organizing informational sessions, conferences, and forums for partners to share knowledge, experiences, and innovative solutions. May serve as a facilitator when needed.
  • Assists in developing partnerships with professional organizations to expand and enhance the educational offerings of Service Oklahoma.
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with all partners, including licensed operators, auto dealers, driver schools, third-party examiners, and other agencies.
  • Serves as secondary point of contact for partners and promotes open and effective communication.
  • Assists in implementing partnership strategies that align with Service Oklahoma’s goals and objectives.
  • Assists in coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless integration and support for partnership initiatives.
  • Assists in facilitating collaborative projects and initiatives with partners to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise between Service Oklahoma and its partners.
  • Assists in providing guidance and support to partners to help them overcome challenges and improve their services.
  • Assists in engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations, to build a strong network of support for Service Oklahoma’s initiatives.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, and the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Adult Education, or closely related field.
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements

  • The schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency.
  • This position may require occasional travel. The employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel. State vehicles may be available, but reliable transportation may be required for local travel.
  • This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
