Position Summary:

The Data Analyst collaborates closely with the Senior Manager of Data Analytics to enhance the organization's data-driven decision-making. This role involves collecting and integrating data from various sources, ensuring data integrity, and generating insightful reports. The Data Analyst will conduct surveys, maintain and clean datasets, and use Tableau to create detailed analyses and visualizations that support organizational goals. This position plays a crucial role in advancing the understanding and impact of our programs through rigorous data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data Management: Maintaining programmatic datasets.
  • Data Analysis: Preparing and producing reports from datasets; assisting program leadership with internal analysis of data; preparing reports including output summaries for use by Development and other departments.
  • Surveys: Working with program staff to create surveys and other impact measurement tools; creating, distributing, and analyzing results from both internal and external surveys.
  • Demographics: Maintaining demographic data on program clientele. Program Support: Answering ad hoc data questions posed by Leadership and staff as they arise.
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR): Supporting clinical staff with EHR data-related tasks, as needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social science and/or three years of equivalent work experience. Knowledge of statistics and non-profit program evaluation.
  • Experience managing and producing report from large datasets. Experience with Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using an electronic health records system
  • Experience with Tableau.
